Transportation of steam generators to Akkuyu NPP
scope of work
Stage 1
Transportation of 4 steam generators weighing 365 tons each from the Atommash plant in Volgodonsk to the Eastern marine terminal of Akkuyu NPP
Stage 2
Loading of steam generators on the vessel in closed holds, delivery by sea to the first NPP in Turkey "Akkuyu".
Stage 3
Transshipment of steam generators from the vessel using a Crawler Crane Liebherr LR 1800 to a special storage area for OOG cargo on the territory of the NPP.
Stage 4
Steam generators are the main equipment of the first circuit of the reactor. The Akkuyu NPP project includes four power units with PWR-1200 generation (pressurized water type reactor) 3+ reactors, each unit is equipped with four steam generators.
